Good Afternoon Everyone,

I would like to invite everyone to come to Dad's funeral. This is not going to be a private service. I thank you for your condolences during this time. They are much appreciated. Please wear something that is colorful as well as comfortable, for Dad was a very fun loving guy and would not want to see everyone wearing black. I have decided to wear a polo style shirt with Dad's 21st SOS patches to show my respect for everyone involved in that 1975 mission.

I am also planning on visiting Lt. Van de Geer's gravesite and the Vietnam Wall after the funeral should anyone like to join me.

Just wanted to let all know that my Dad, Col. Howard "Al" Corson died on May 24th from cancer. Although he probably did not stay in touch with you all, I know he still cared. Burial will be at Arlington, August 27th at 3pm.

I just wanted to let all of my friends and fellow marines who prayed for me in January and February when I was so sick. I am now doing well and got a new prosthetic leg. This one is different than the last one I had. I am feeling good, just trying to gain weight. I am infection free now( knock on wood). My doctor told me that he has never seen anyone come out of this infection alive. God is good. I hope to see all of you next year in Branson. Thanks again for your prayers.

I came across this site while trying to find someone that was with my brother during this time. Edgar C. Moran was my brother and no one will know what it means to me that you guys always have remembered your own. Three men came and placed a heart of red white and blue carnations on Edgars grave four years ago. I had found the one and thanked him by email. But I stopped trying to find more of the guys that served with Edgar. My mom had passed away and it was a hard time. She just never was the same after losing Edgar. He was the rock of our family and I so looked up to him.
Thank you for remembering him and continue to. I would like to get in touch with anyone who served with him. Please email me. I would like to hear from you.

Another year has passed and we tried to do you proud ..
We won't forget and we won't let anybody else forget the sacerfice you and your famlies have endured..We on TWS discussed the Island and the cost for 4 days ending last night ..
I'm glad the thread got attention ((over 550 different discussions))and I hope it rates right up there at the top in their mind the next time they hear a story about Our Or Anyones Hero's.
And This is and was not a blame game thread ,,,To do justice to these and all of our hero's it Was a Celebration of History ,Tradition and love for Brothers and the sacerfices that were made for us all .
This is a day in our history like every day that never surprises us like it might the people that have never experienced our brother hood ..
And Where the world might stop and think about the sacrifices they were being asked to give,, Our Brothers have already acted ...
