Whatever became of 1st Lt. Terry Tonkin and Capt. Cassidy? Was assigned to them as a TACP radio operator with 2/9 during this operation? Any clues?

Learned today that another of our brothers is very seriously ill. I know of several more who are terminal or are fighting for their lives. We are not young men anymore and our time on this earth is dwindling. We should all do what we can to support each other. One way is to attend our upcoming reunion and help to make it one of our best ever. Pray for our brothers and see you in Cincinnati in May.

I went to junior high and part of HS with Jimmy Jacques. I just saw the video on You Tube of the LT speaking. Jimmy always had a smile on his face. He joined the Marines when he was 17. Thank you for some closure. You guys did your duty. Thank you! I wish you had more support that day, and the rest of your lives. My son served 4 years in the Marines. It was good for him.
