I just heard that ourown BikerGunny James Gregory is to be inducted into the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Hall of Fame for his work organizing the original Run for the Wall. More info later. Congratulations Gunny!

Major Hendrix was a great leader. I remember looking back from point position and he was standing tall and giving instructions. He and alt McMenamin were outstanding. Missing a great man

Major John B. Hendricks 2nd Battalion 9th Marines XO passed away March 9, 2023 from complications from Covid. He had a weakened immune system from chemo for lymphoma. It was attributed to Agent Orange.

He was playing tennis up to three weeks before becoming ill. His tennis club dedicated a bench inscribed with his name on the court where he played for so many years.

John will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

I've heard rumors that there will be a 50th Year SS Mayaguez Rescue/Recovery Ceremony held in Washington DC in 2025. If this in fact is true we need to start planning for this Historic Event now.
