Recently visited D.C. Went to the Wall and was able to see the names of the brothers that were in my company. It was surreal. Was able to show my adult children and wife. They didn't realize what I had done because I never told them the whole story until then. Seeing the Wall and the names helped them to understand.

I wanted to thank you for everything your group did for the Maxwells. I'm pretty sure you guys were there at the visitation and funeral of PFC James R. Maxwell's body comes home. If you remember you spoke to Janie Estes, Patricia Cates, Paul Maxwell and Gary Maxwell. I am the wife of James Ricky Maxwell Estes. He is named after his uncle. His mother is Janie. Please keep in touch. I'll never forget that service. Thank you for my FREEDOM and your service.

While my "Mayaguez Incident" experience pales in comparison with those of you on-the-ground; rest assure, you're not forgotten! I was one of many AC-130 SPECTRE Gunners -- just doing our part -- albeit from high above.

And every once-in-awhile, I get to rewind those memory tapes... "Thank-you" all for your collective, dedicated service!

Happy Vets Day to all of my brothers. I am heading out to our VFW ceremony in Vets Park Lynnwood, Wa. Our fallen brother Dan Benedett was from Auburn, Wa. My VFW post was able to contact Mike Reagan who is the Fallen Heroes Project who draws portraits of Fallen Heroes. He agreed to draw a portraint of Dan. I am accepting the sketching at the ceremony and will send a photo along for our site.
