I served on board USS Peary DE-1073 and was hauling refugees at the time (sorry we werent there) and remember the USS Holt (I believe it was our sister ship). We appreciate the sacrifices. I had no idea of what really happened back then and the Legion article was outstanding.

Kudos to those who didnt make it back.

Just finished the story in the American Legion magazine. Bravo Zulu to those who were there. I recognized the name Tom Noble at once...we served together as Radarmen on the USS Bronstein De-1037 in 1970-1972.

Greetings My Brother's I must say i am honored to be ask and able to escort the remains of PFC Richard William Rivenburgh to his final resting place at Ft. Rosecran National Cemetery today after Missing in Action 37 years ago. I know many of you wanted to be here but you are in our hearts. Praying for us all. i will update you later as we go along.
Special thanks to the Patriot Guard Riders for all their assistance.

Semper Fi Brothers. I served in Viet Nam With G Co.2nd 26th Mar REg. I have a POW bracelet with R,W. Rivenburgh'S name. Glad to see he was brought home.

It was an honor and privledge to welcome home PFC Richad Rivenburgh on 1 Aug 12 2012 after being missing in action on 15 May 1975.

The PGR will escort Richard to his final resting place at Ft Rosecrans N.C on 6 Aug 2012.

In attnedance will be 4 of Richards brothers that fought in that battle.
