Wow!!saw this on Sgt Grit went to the link-I remember this well. The name brought back a memory long hidden.Was getting ready to be discharged in June, so was gearing down and debriefed, when my roommie told me about this the first day it started. The President wasn't the sharpest tack in the box, sadly. The crypto and secure lines were hot. Thank G*d for all those who came home safe and eternal peace to those who did not.

Anyone seen any pictures with the battle 1975. Does anyone have any of the pictures, and if so please let me know. Also, thank you to the brothers we left behind and the brothers that went back and reclaimed the remains. Thank you all for your service to your country.

Air Force cops from Thailand were originally tasked to take the ship with revolvers and nightsticks! A lot of that information was never reported. See The Last Man on our website. I'm still taking stories.

Throughout my Marine career from boot camp to retirement 30 years later. Never compromised values, was not a yes man to anyone. Told people how I felt. Units always made or exceeded their mission. I always did the right thing, enforced regulations, was fair, firm, and consistant in all that I did or enforced. I had no favorites, no friends, only aquaitences. When I put on SgtMaj; I considered myself to be terminal, not going any higher in position. I would not get busted unless I did something unlawfull. As a terminal SgtMaj, I got even more vocal and told my boss's how I felt to them behind closed doors. I never held anything back. I have no regrets and choose to move on.
