Gentlemen, I think of all of you often and am proud to have met and know a good number of you. My father, David Fowler, spoke very highly of you all and held each of the men he fought with and beside very close to his heart. It's because of the heroic efforts of you all that I am here today to be able to thank you and tell you that my father couldn't have been surrounded by greater men. I look forward to the next opportunity to see and speak with you all again and hope that opportunity presents itself sooner rather than later. God Bless you all. Semper Fi, Marines!

This is the 10th anniversary of my dad, Col. Howard "Al" Corson's passing. My thoughts are with you all that served and sacrificed for our country on this Memorial Day weekend.

Having spent most of the day in the emergency room of a local hospital, I had copious time to reflect on the the events and people of 44 years ago in the Gulf of Thailand. It had been on my mind for several days which was probably the trigger that sent me to the ER. The final diagnosis was severe anxiety attack, of which I had not had in well over a year. But CAT scan also showed slightly enlarged heart and possible emphysema. So I will be supporting the medical establishment for the next few weeks. Aging isn't for sissies!!!! There is never a day that goes by that I don't think about those we lost on Koh Tang and since, and those of us survivors. Luv Y'll Brothers, Semper Fi - Edd Prothro MSgt USMC Ret.

I stumbled onto this website back in 2004 and it changed my life. Will be forever grateful for the friendships made since. Those hours over the island are never far away. Just glad to meet the brave men who were on the ground that day. Love you and see you all here next May.
