There has been a September 11th since the current calendar has existed. Hardly anyone thought anything like the conversion of that date to 911. As Pearl Harbour being a day that will live in infamy, so to will 11 Sept 2001. Parents and grandparents remember exactly where they were when they found out what happened in Hawaii, so to will each of us on 911. We must pass down to our children these events. Do not leave it to the school teachers - it is our job. We must never forget any part of our American history. A notable date to start teaching is 15 May 1975. Your children, nephews, and nieces deserve the opportunity, to at least to know that you want to tell them about that part of history. We as a people must know where we have come from, to know where we are headed. Our immediate duty is to remember these dates and others throughout our beloved American history. But it is equally our duty to tell others of this American story for the past 230 plus years.
We must never forget, especially their names - that is all we have. God of the Bible (KJV) has blessed America since it's beginning, let's pray each day for this glorious nation to continue it's perservere and endurance through all challenges foreign and domestic.

Saepre Expertus (Often tested),
Scott

P.S. My father died at age 75 on September 11th 1996.

Good Evening Family

As we reflect on the events of 10 years ago today, let's say a silent prayer for the young men and women who work to preserve that such an atrocity never happens again.

God Bless
Larry

CAT 3 hurricane Irene is going to paralell the East coast. At sometime it will "By the left flank" and ambush some state along the eastern seaboard. Like life, we never know what is going to happen while we are on this long range patrol through life. We can only prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Then we should remember; by name, events, circumstances, mistakes, positives, and negatives. Remember the people that you went through hard times with and reminise about that time together. Yes, it is painfull to remember and talk about. But this is our duty not ever to forget.

To everyone that showed up at Odon, IN., it was a great time for all and a job well done on the fundraiser. The town of Odon is small but has the biggest hearts around and the support they give is second to none.
The Noble family and friends really know how to make a person feel special and I want to let all of you know, I truly don’t have the words to tell you how much all of you are loved by all of us and if ever you need help without a doubt the Marines will be there to help you.
I want to thank everyone that made donations, volunteered time and helped with the Golf Scramble for it was a success, and thank all who played and for not hitting me with a ball on the 18th hole. I want to thank everyone that showed up for the auction and for everyone that bought the items that were being auctioned off, again it was a success and thanks for the support.
I will be seeing all of you again in Branson, MO., for the reunion and hopefully more of our brothers, for we will have a great time as usual. If you haven’t attended one you are missing out and if you would show up for one you will be hooked and see what you have been missing out on for whatever reason is not important as long as you come and see for yourself and then you will know.
