To you who served and fought at
Koh Tang Beach I render my gratitude. I began learning about the Mayagüez incident about a year ago from my good friend and brother John (jopa)Parks who was a helicopter crew chief in Vietnam and who has a website http://home.comcast.net/~1jopa/index.html dedicated to the memory of PFC Danny Marshall, LCpl Joseph N. Hargrove and Pfc Gary L. Hall, who are MIA's of the battle at Koh Tang Beach. I have also become friends with Jeff (Stump) Kern who served and fought with E/2/9 at Koh Tang Beach. I would like to say more, perhaps at some later time. For now, I'm just so grateful to be able to spend such a hallowed moment and share my thoughts and prayers for those who served and and those who made the ultimate sacrifice at Koh Tang Beach.
