I served aboard USS ENTERPRISE,leaving the theater after Saigon fell. We followed the operation in the intelligence center. GOD BLESS all those who served in Mayaguez Operation and NEVER FORGET those who perished. 45 years ago today ! GOD BLESS YOU Charlie Clark, USS CORAL SEA, my brother forever !

It's almost 15 May in Kohtang.
I said it a few years ago here, I was aboard USS Midway with VMAQ-2. We knew what happened. I'll never forget the evening these Marines came ashore at Yokuska. I knew you were heartbroken. My spirit was crushed for you. But one of you saw me standing aside while you passed. You must have known what I was feeling for you. You gave me a nod. You knew I loved you all. From this Winger, know you have never been forgotten, especially your brothers who didn't return home. God bless you all. |

Served on the USS Coral Sea CVA 43 during this event I was nothing much more in a punk kid, but I knew some of the guys that went over and didn't come back. Thanks for a great website.
