Love this site. I am beholden to the American military, and especially the Marine Corps, for the degree of freedom I have today. Semper Fi(delis).

The Dedication is Friday, May 25 at 10:00 am in Ennis TX. The Memorial is just off Hwy 287, which is the main Ennis Ave. into town from either Hwy 35 or 45.
If coming in on 35, you will be at the Memorial site as soon as you hit town after the overpass. If 45, go through town and take a left at the last light. I have ordered the brick paver that will be center (I hope) in the Vietnam section that reads "The Last 41//KhoTang//May 1975" I will also be a part of the wreathe laying in that section, pictures will follow when time allows. If anyone can attend, please introduce yourself to me, I have the deepest respect for all of you folks. Never forget Barbara WOLFF Webb former 1st LT USAF Invert 36 74 - 75 |

I remember the fire on the USS Denver. They had us up on the flight deck ready to abandon ship. The call came out that the fire was out but in just a couple of minutes it flared up again for a few minutes.
We had a couple of weeks in Japan ship yard while they repaired the ship. I started drinking beer there due to nothing else tasted good to drink. |
