Kudos to the 56th Security Forces Squadron, Luke AFB for conducting their annual remembrance ceremony this past Friday, May 18th. Every year at the base flag pole airmen, ncos, officers, pilots, cops, chaplains, retirees, veterans, family members stand at attention in the incredible heat as the names are read. The ceremony takes only 20 minutes. But, it says volumes about the officers and enlisted folks of the 56th Wing, who, every year, take time to honor those they never met. My roommate Gerry Fritz, and all those guys won't ever be forgotten. We were soldiers once, and young. Go to Luke's web page every April/early May for ceremony information. Thank you.

The Dedication is Friday, May 25 at 10:00 am in Ennis TX. The Memorial is just off Hwy 287, which is the main Ennis Ave. into town from either Hwy 35 or 45.
If coming in on 35, you will be at the Memorial site as soon as you hit town after the overpass. If 45, go through town and take a left at the last light. I have ordered the brick paver that will be center (I hope) in the Vietnam section that reads "The Last 41//KhoTang//May 1975" I will also be a part of the wreathe laying in that section, pictures will follow when time allows.
